While there may be fewer than two hundred people living in Washington Virginia, the county seat of Rappahannock County, we pride ourselves on our hospitality. The tree lined streets welcome visitors to stroll the quiet village which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. We are home to the world renowned "Inn at Little Washington" which for over a quarter of a century  has attracted guests and diners with five star service and food. 

Our five  bed and breakfasts are hosted by inn keepers who will make your stay a memorable one. Good country cooking is available six days a week at our charming "The Country Cafe" and gourmet take out and catering is available seven days a week from "Sunnyside Market". Everything is within  strolling distance and we encourage you to enjoy the beautiful historic town as we do, by foot. We welcome you for your first visit which we know won't be your last.
